Engineer I, Software Quality Assurance Testing

About the role

As an Engineer I in Software Quality Assurance Testing, you will support Xerox’s mission to deliver reliable, high‑quality software solutions. This entry‑level position focuses on designing testing strategies, establishing quality standards, and ensuring that both internal and third‑party applications meet rigorous performance and compliance criteria.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute testing strategies for hardware, software, telecommunications, and infrastructure components.
• Define and maintain quality standards and control documentation.
• Collaborate with platform Centers of Competence (architecture, infrastructure, production support) to align testing activities with project deliverables.
• Manage quality and environmental management processes for assigned functions.
• Oversee testing activities of third‑party partners to ensure compliance with Xerox standards.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a degree in a relevant engineering or computer‑science discipline.
• Ability to follow established policies, procedures, and business protocols.
• Limited decision‑making authority with guidance from senior staff.
