Engineer I – Continuous Process Improvement

About the role

We are seeking an Engineer I – Continuous Process Improvement to join our team in Goa. In this role you will drive lean transformation across the department, eliminating waste and raising product quality through structured improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a department‑wide lean transformation plan, including value‑stream maps to identify waste reduction opportunities.
• Lead Gemba walks, visual‑management updates, and daily improvement activities on the shop floor and in office areas.
• Coach and mentor cross‑functional teams to embed a continuous‑improvement culture.
• Plan and execute Kaizen events, standard‑work creation, 5S, and other lean activities.
• Design material‑flow solutions such as supermarket cells and pull systems based on takt time.
• Prepare lean status reports, quantify savings in safety, quality, delivery, cost and cash, and communicate results internally and externally.
• Support budgeting for improvement projects and ensure return on investment.

Required profile

• Engineering graduate or equivalent with interest in manufacturing excellence.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in a matrix organization.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
