ELV Engineer – Design & Integration of Low Voltage Systems

About the role

We are looking for an ELV Engineer to design, configure and integrate extra‑low‑voltage (ELV) systems across a variety of building projects. The role covers the full lifecycle from concept through installation, testing and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Design ELV solutions including fire alarm, access control, BMS, EPABX, LAN/WAN, CCTV and PA systems.
• Prepare RFQs, evaluate vendor proposals and manage technical approvals.
• Configure multiple OEM servers and perform software configuration for ELV and BMS platforms.
• Handle networking and Windows operating‑system integration.
• Produce functional and detailed design specifications (FDS, DDS) and ensure quality‑assured documentation.
• Coordinate with site teams, clients, engineers and contractors to obtain statutory approvals and sign‑offs.
• Utilise 3D modelling tools to detect and resolve design clashes.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of ELV system architecture and communication protocols.
• Experience with the complete software/systems lifecycle in a construction environment.
• Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams and external vendors.
