Plumbing & Fire Fighting Engineer

About the role

SYSTRA India is a leading design team for metros, highways, bridges, urban planning and water projects. The company seeks a Plumbing & Fire Fighting Engineer to contribute to public health engineering and fire safety system designs. This role offers the chance to work on high‑impact infrastructure projects across India.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare design basis reports.
• Develop detailed designs for public health engineering and fire‑fighting systems.
• Create basic drawings and specifications according to approved schemes.
• Design and draw plumbing layouts, including internal drainage.
• Prepare single‑line diagrams for drainage schemes.
• Design, draw, and coordinate internal and external hydrant systems in compliance with codes.
• Prepare BOQ, cost estimates and technical specifications.
