Electrician – Level I (Manufacturing Maintenance)

About the role

This position supports day‑to‑day maintenance in a manufacturing environment, focusing on the assembly area. Working under guidance, the Level I Electrician will develop technical capability in electrical systems, PLCs, and factory automation while contributing to high equipment uptime and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine electrical and control system maintenance in the assembly area.
• Respond to breakdowns involving electrical, PLC, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to maintain ~98% plant uptime.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in PLC programs, HMI interfaces, relay logic, and control circuits.
• Execute preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance according to schedule, ensuring 100% PM compliance.
• Support downtime analysis, root‑cause identification (Why‑Why), and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with factory automation improvements and machine programming.
• Apply Lockout‑Tagout (LOTO), conduct risk assessments, and follow work‑permit procedures.
• Maintain daily maintenance reports, spare‑parts inventory, and 5S housekeeping standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Electronics or a related technical field.
• Early‑career or apprenticeship mindset with willingness to learn under supervision.
• Commitment to safety, zero‑incident goals, and adherence to HSE standards.
• Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing setting and collaborate with a team.
