Electrical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of all electrical equipment within the plant. This role involves executing scheduled and emergency repairs, supporting projects, and maintaining accurate documentation while complying with HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily, weekly and monthly maintenance plans for electrical systems.
• Perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory, track levels and ensure availability of critical components.
• Conduct risk assessments, obtain permits and follow MOC and CAPEX procedures.
• Support troubleshooting, repair and refurbishment of electrical components.
• Participate in root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and standardise test procedures and best‑practice guidelines.
• Assist in budgeting, cost analysis and lifecycle planning for electrical assets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards, risk assessment and HSE compliance.
• Ability to follow documented policies, processes and standard operating procedures.
• Good organisational skills for planning and inventory management.
