Electrical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of plant electrical equipment. This includes executing scheduled and emergency repairs, supporting projects, managing spare‑part inventory and maintaining accurate documentation in line with HSEF standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily, weekly and monthly electrical maintenance plans in coordination with planning and plant teams.
• Perform critical preventive and predictive maintenance activities while adhering to the highest quality standards.
• Troubleshoot, repair and refurbish electrical equipment and components.
• Manage inventory of electrical spare parts, track levels and ensure availability of critical items.
• Participate in task‑based risk assessments, obtain permits and follow MOC and CAPEX procedures.
• Contribute to root‑cause analysis, implement recommendations and support life‑cycle/obsolescence planning.
• Maintain compliance with HSEF standards and keep documentation up to date.
• Stay current with industry best practices and suggest continuous‑improvement initiatives.
