eAxle System Architect - Deputy Manager

About the role

Bosch Group is seeking an experienced eAxle System Architect to lead the definition and development of eAxle system layouts and architectures in Bengaluru. The role operates at the System‑of‑Systems level, coordinating cross‑functional teams to deliver optimal electrified drivetrain solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and develop eAxle system layout, dimensioning and optimal systemic solutions.
• Create comprehensive system architecture, including interface definitions, descriptions and technical specifications.
• Coordinate product requirements using top‑down and bottom‑up approaches with internal experts and cross‑functional teams.
• Address uncertainties by making informed assumptions and translating them into robust system‑level requirements.
• Prepare system work packages, track progress and report on project milestones.
• Conduct risk assessment, mitigation planning and impact analysis for requirement and design changes.
• Lead stakeholder communication across engineering, product and business teams.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, specifications and system requirements.
• Perform trade‑off analysis to balance performance, cost, weight and other critical parameters.
• Plan and coordinate system validation and verification activities to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Identify and drive optimisation opportunities for performance, efficiency and manufacturability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in automotive system engineering with a focus on electrification technologies.
• Proven expertise in system architecture development at the system‑of‑systems level.
• Strong experience with interface definition, technical specifications and system‑requirements documentation.
