Drilling Data Analyst

About the role

The Drilling Data Analyst provides technical expertise to capture, manage, and report data throughout the lifecycle of wellsite drilling and workover operations. You will ensure daily reporting of well‑site activity, apply KPI‑based analytics, and conduct NPT/ILT time analysis while maintaining data quality and confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily reporting of wellsite operations, handling configuration, loading, quality control, monitoring and troubleshooting of operational data.
• Ensure seamless data capture with reporting applications, monitoring mandatory reports, data sources, formats, units, identifiers and normal value ranges.
• Learn and maintain the reporting application, system installation, configuration and track issue resolution.
• Coordinate data collection across service companies, client organisations and real‑time data providers.
• Support on‑site teams and collaborate with project and remote operations teams to maintain application software, system upgrades and maintenance.
• Monitor service quality, follow incident escalation procedures and inform supervisors of potential issues.
• Implement data confidentiality standards and IT security policies for data capture, storage, transfer and archival.
• Maintain HSE scorecards and contribute to safety programs.

Required profile

• Graduation degree in Mechanical, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent; higher degree is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data analytics and at least 1 year in a related drilling or oil‑&‑gas environment.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new problems, and communicate effectively with managers, peers and clients.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and adherence to HSE and security standards.
