Dispatch Support

About the role

The Dispatch Support role ensures efficient product deliveries by building and scheduling truck loads, monitoring driver activity, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards. You will act as a liaison between drivers, warehouses, sales, and management to meet delivery expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Build, schedule, and consolidate product deliveries using strategic routing software.
• Monitor drivers throughout the day to ensure on‑time deliveries, productivity, safety, and issue resolution.
• Communicate delivery updates, delays, and special handling requests to internal teams.
• Arrange preventive maintenance and repairs for equipment.
• Maintain FMCSA and DOT compliance for drivers and vehicles (hours of service, GVWR, medical, license, etc.).
• Upload and store documentation for outbound freight, driver compliance, and vehicle maintenance.
• Provide feedback on driver and equipment utilization and suggest improvements.
• Partner with supply‑chain teams to solve delivery problems and improve processes.
• Generate reports and observations for management.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience dispatching drivers.
• Experience with warehouse and transportation systems.
• Familiarity with DOT compliance for drivers and vehicles.

Required skills

• Descartes routing software (preferred).
• Safety‑oriented software such as LYTX or DriveCam (preferred).
• ELD and asset‑tracking tools like Geotab (preferred).
• Strategic routing and load‑building tools.
• Knowledge of FMCSA/DOT regulations and compliance documentation.
