Director, Workday HCM Center of Excellence

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Director to establish and lead a Workday HCM Center of Excellence (CoE). The role will shape service offerings, delivery frameworks, and best practices while scaling the practice through talent development and certification.

Key responsibilities

• Define and launch the Workday HCM CoE, creating reusable templates, accelerators, and implementation assets.
• Scale the practice by recruiting, mentoring, and certifying consultants, architects, and integration specialists.
• Partner with client HR, Payroll, and IT teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support proposal preparation, RFP responses, solution architecture, and effort estimation for new opportunities.
• Provide delivery governance, quality assurance, and adherence to Workday best practices across implementations.
• Identify automation and optimization opportunities to continuously improve delivery efficiency.
• Collaborate with sales, alliances, and leadership to expand Workday services and grow the HR technology portfolio.

Required profile

• 12–15 years of experience in HR technology implementations, with at least 7 years focused on Workday HCM.
• Proven track record designing and delivering large‑scale Workday transformations.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities for consulting and technical teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Workday HCM modules: Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking.
• Workday configuration: Business Process Framework, security model, reporting, dashboards, tenant management.
• Workday integrations: EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Web Services APIs.
• Workday Extend and advanced reporting/analytics.
• Presales activities: RFP response, solution architecture, effort estimation.
