Director of Supply Chain Management – APNC & India Localization

About the role

Aptiv is seeking a senior leader to drive supply chain strategy for its APNC region and spearhead electronics and semiconductor localization in India. The role combines global revenue responsibility with hands‑on development of a regional supplier ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary SCM focal point for APNC, overseeing operations in Korea, India and Japan.
• Manage a portfolio exceeding $400 million in revenue for Singapore and Chennai sites.
• Define and execute India’s semiconductor strategy, partnering with key technology providers such as CDIL, Micron, Kayens and Syrma.
• Localize critical components including display bonding, TFT panels and mechanical parts for both Indian and global programs.
• Build and qualify a robust Indian supply base for electronics, power devices (IGBT, MOSFET), memory and mechanical categories.
• Establish supply‑chain solutions that mitigate tariff impact and support global demand.

Required profile

• Degree in Electronics Engineering, Business Administration, MBA or related field.
• 15+ years of global supply‑chain experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Deep knowledge of electronics and mechatronics suppliers for automotive/industrial applications.
• Proven ability to manage global/regional supplier relationships and meet KPI targets.
• Strong financial acumen to support strategic decisions.
• Excellent analytical, presentation and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Fluent English and proficient with MS Office.
