Supply Chain Planning Analyst – Bangalore

About the role

Caterpillar’s Supply Chain Services team is looking for a Supply Chain Planning Analyst to manage the end‑to‑end Factory Managed Parts order process. The role is based in Bangalore and focuses on analyzing dealer service parts requests, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze dealer service parts requests across multiple systems and ERP to confirm feasibility, cost, and lead time.
• Coordinate with suppliers for pricing, commercial terms, and availability.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Product Groups, and Transportation to convert requests into confirmed orders.
• Track order progress, resolve delays, and provide accurate quotations to dealers.
• Support source council activities by evaluating re‑sourcing options aligned with regional strategies.
• Identify recurring issues and drive corrective actions to improve order cycle time and service fill.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, science, engineering or equivalent.
• 8‑9 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, 3PL, warehousing or service parts logistics.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple responsibilities and collaborate across functions.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP ERP systems.
• Experience with Mainframe ERP systems.
