Director of Rooms – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Director of Rooms will lead the entire Rooms Division of Fairmont Agra, ensuring the delivery of world‑class luxury experiences for guests while meeting financial and brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, Concierge, Butler Services, Reservations and other guest‑facing areas.
• Drive revenue performance by collaborating with Revenue Management, Sales & Marketing and Finance to optimise occupancy, ADR and RevPAR.
• Prepare, analyse and report monthly P&L statements, monitor expenses, payroll and productivity to maximise profitability.
• Oversee daily Front Office operations, VIP guest management and service recovery to exceed guest expectations.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, quality and personalised service across all rooms‑division departments.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning processes for the division.
• Analyse market trends and guest preferences to identify new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in a luxury hotel Rooms Division.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L, budgeting and cost control.
• Excellent guest‑centric mindset and ability to engage with high‑profile clientele.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large, multi‑disciplinary teams and drive operational excellence.
