Director - Capital, Partnerships & Business Development

About the role

We are seeking a Director to lead capital raising, partnership development, and new‑business initiatives for a diverse portfolio that includes hospitality, real estate, agriculture, media and sustainability projects. Based in South Goa, you will work directly with the Founder, the Head of the Founder’s Office and the Finance Controller.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and build a targeted pipeline of investors, lenders, family offices, HNIs and strategic partners for each project.
• Initiate and manage outreach through calls, email, LinkedIn, events and referrals, qualifying prospects before involving senior leadership.
• Coordinate pitch decks, financial models, data rooms, site visits and due‑diligence processes.
• Maintain accurate records of conversations, commitments and next steps, and follow each serious conversation to closure.
• Develop partnership propositions, generate leads for hospitality, property and creative businesses, and negotiate commercial terms within approved frameworks.
• Research markets, comparable businesses and partnership models to provide commercial intelligence.

Required profile

• Experience working in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment, preferably within a founder‑led organization.
• Strong understanding of business models, economics and strategic value creation.
• Ability to articulate complex opportunities clearly to investors, lenders, brands and operating partners.
• Proactive problem‑solver who can move conversations from initial contact to deal closure.
