Digital Security Engineer – Endpoint & Threat Prevention

About the role

We are looking for a Digital Security Engineer to lead threat prevention across our enterprise environment. The role focuses on endpoint protection, email security, and firewall management to safeguard the organization against malware, phishing, and network attacks.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and manage Symantec Endpoint Security (AV/SEP Complete) across the enterprise.
• Monitor endpoint threats, malware outbreaks and ensure policy compliance.
• Investigate and remediate endpoint security incidents, perform agent upgrades and policy tuning.
• Integrate Symantec solutions with SIEM/SOC workflows where applicable.
• Administer Microsoft Defender for Office 365, including anti‑phishing, anti‑spam, anti‑malware policies, Safe Links, Safe Attachments and email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
• Investigate email‑based threats using Threat Explorer, real‑time detections, message trace and quarantine management.
• Run phishing simulations, manage user reporting and improve security awareness.
• Configure, manage and troubleshoot FortiGate firewalls – firewall policies, NAT, site‑to‑site and client VPNs, IPS, antivirus, web filtering and application control.
• Conduct firewall rule reviews, optimization and security hardening, and participate in change management and incident response.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Symantec Endpoint Security, Microsoft Defender for Office 365 and FortiGate firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of email authentication standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and phishing mitigation.
• Familiarity with SIEM/SOC integration and incident response processes.
