Dialysis Technician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Home Dialysis Technician to deliver safe, high‑quality dialysis treatments in patients' residences. The role involves setting up and operating dialysis equipment, monitoring patients, and ensuring strict infection control.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct home dialysis sessions according to prescribed treatment plans.
• Set up, operate, and safely dismantle dialysis machines and related equipment.
• Monitor patients' vital signs before, during, and after treatment.
• Follow infection prevention and control protocols.
• Prepare and verify consumables, equipment, and medications.
• Report any abnormal patient conditions, machine alarms, or treatment issues immediately.
• Maintain accurate records of sessions, observations, and treatment parameters.
• Clean, disinfect, and store dialysis equipment properly.
• Educate patients and families on basic dialysis procedures and safety.
• Coordinate with nephrologists, nurses, and the clinical team regarding patient care.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of experience in dialysis or related clinical settings.
• Preferred education: BSc, BVoc, or Advanced Diploma in Dialysis Technology.

Required skills

• Dialysis machine setup, operation and safe dismantling.
• Monitoring patient vital signs throughout treatment.
• Infection prevention and control practices.
• Equipment cleaning, disinfection and proper storage.
• Accurate documentation of treatment parameters and patient observations.
