DevOps Engineer (SRE)

About the role

DataHub is seeking an experienced DevOps / Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Engineer to drive reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of its AI & Data Context Platform. You will work on both the DataHub Cloud SaaS offering and emerging enterprise deployment solutions, enabling customers to run DataHub in their preferred environments.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with product and engineering teams to design advanced deployment capabilities, including seamless installation, upgrade, and rollback across multiple environments.
• Define and implement comprehensive monitoring, health‑check, and self‑healing systems for distributed deployments.
• Establish and maintain SLAs/SLOs for cloud and enterprise offerings, lead incident response and post‑mortem processes.
• Optimize system performance, capacity planning, and cost efficiency while improving on‑call practices and runbooks.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or DevOps roles.
• Strong expertise with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure automation tools.
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

Required skills

• Python or Java programming.
• Monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog.
• CI/CD pipeline and deployment automation experience.
