DevOps Engineer – Salesforce Automation

About the role

Capgemini is looking for a DevOps Engineer focused on the Salesforce ecosystem. You will design, build and maintain automated delivery pipelines that enable fast, reliable releases across multiple environments. The role bridges development and operations, ensuring high‑quality deployments and smooth collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines specifically for Salesforce applications.
• Manage version control and metadata deployments using Salesforce DX and Git.
• Utilize release‑management platforms such as Copado, Gearset, Flosum or AutoRABIT.
• Automate deployment workflows with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Write and maintain scripts with Salesforce CLI, Python, Bash or Node.js.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to coordinate release cycles and environment management.
• Maintain deep knowledge of Salesforce metadata structure and administrative operations.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Salesforce metadata and admin processes.
• Experience working in cross‑functional, agile teams.
• Ability to troubleshoot deployment issues and optimize pipelines.

Required skills

• Salesforce DX and Git.
• Copado, Gearset, Flosum or AutoRABIT.
• Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Salesforce CLI.
• Python, Bash, Node.js scripting.
