DevOps Engineer

About the role

PFit Global is looking for a hands‑on DevOps Engineer to own and enhance its cloud‑native infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and automation workflows. You will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to build reliable, scalable, and secure platforms that support innovative software solutions for clients across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Deploy, manage and optimise containerised applications with Docker and Kubernetes across development, staging and production environments.
• Provision and maintain cloud infrastructure as code, primarily with Terraform, ensuring consistency, scalability and security.
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging and observability solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack or Datadog.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment and production issues, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.
• Develop automation scripts and internal tools using Python and/or Bash.
• Enforce cloud security best practices, including IAM, secrets management and infrastructure hardening.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to support application deployments while maintaining platform reliability and performance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, infrastructure diagrams and operational runbooks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Proven experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Solid knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud).
