Engineer / Senior Engineer – Linux BSP

About the role

The position involves designing and developing real‑time embedded software/firmware as well as PC and mobile applications. You will work on Linux based board support packages and collaborate with hardware teams to meet customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop Linux device drivers, kernel modules and BSP components using Yocto or Buildroot.
• Perform software testing at unit, functional and system levels, including both manual and automated tests.
• Maintain traceability from requirements through design, coding and testing, and conduct code reviews and static analysis.
• Document specifications, design documents, test cases, test reports and release notes throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Linux kernel programming, internals and driver development.
• Experience with embedded microprocessors such as Qualcomm, TI, NXP, NVIDIA or Intel.
• Ability to interpret hardware schematics and datasheets to create firmware/software solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with development tools like oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, emulators, signal generators and JTAG programmers.
