DevOps Engineer – Cloud Automation & CI/CD

About the role

Metantz is sourcing DevOps Engineers for fast‑growing product startups in Bangalore. You will own infrastructure, automate delivery pipelines and support high‑impact SaaS, FinTech and DeepTech applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable software releases.
• Manage and optimise cloud environments on AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Implement infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform or Pulumi.
• Monitor system health and performance with Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus and the ELK stack.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on containerisation and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Enforce security best practices, including secrets management and vulnerability scanning.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks to improve developer experience.
• Participate in incident response, root‑cause analysis and on‑call rotations.

Required profile

• 1–4 years of hands‑on DevOps or SRE experience in a product or startup setting.
• Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS preferred).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI or CircleCI.
• Solid scripting skills in Bash, Python or Go.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code experience with Terraform or equivalent.
