Desktop Support Engineer – Onsite Dispatch (Kolkata)

About the role

We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide on‑site, ticket‑based support for end‑users and office infrastructure in Kolkata. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software, managing device lifecycles, and coordinating with remote teams and third‑party vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and peripherals across Windows, macOS and Linux platforms.
• Provision, deploy, replace, image and de‑commission IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity and user‑related issues, escalating to Level 2 when needed.
• Support office IT services including network connectivity, printing, voice, AV and workplace technologies.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot switches, routers, access points and related network infrastructure.
• Assist with smart‑office solutions, digital signage and conference‑room technologies.
• Conduct inventory audits, maintain accurate asset records and manage hardware asset lifecycle.
• Coordinate warranty repairs, device redeployment, disposal and stock management.
• Support office moves, hardware refreshes, equipment relocations and infrastructure projects.
• Provide remote‑hands assistance and escort third‑party vendors when required.

Required profile
