Deskside Technician II – IT Support

About the role

Stefanini is seeking a Deskside Technician II to provide on‑site IT support for a large corporate environment, handling both Mac and PC platforms and a wide range of peripherals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide desktop and laptop technical support for Mac and Windows (7/10) devices.
• Support mobile devices, printers, scanners, wireless networks, VPN and other peripherals.
• Perform IMAC (Install/Move/Add/Change) tasks, maintain repairs, spare parts and components.
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues; track incidents via the client’s ticketing tool.
• Backup, restore and migrate user data; deliver smart‑hands support for networking, server and telecommunications technologies.
• Manage inventory of IT assets, conduct asset audits and provide on‑call/after‑hours support, including executive assistance.

Required profile

• Experience supporting Mac OS, Windows OS, Microsoft Office, smartphones, AV conferencing systems, printers and PC hardware.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude under stress and support remote facilities and users.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high professionalism.
• Physical ability to walk, bend, stand for long periods and lift equipment up to 50 lb.
• High School Diploma (required) and prior desktop/end‑user computer experience in a corporate setting.

Required skills

• A+ Certification.
• Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
• ITIL Foundations.
• Experience with CA Service Desk, BMC Remedy or ServiceNow.
• Active Directory (AD) support and basic Intune/Autopilot knowledge.
• Proficiency with Cisco IP phones, Polycom audio/video conferencing devices, SCCM imaging and Excel.
