Design Engineer / Executive – Hydraulic Pumps

About the role

We are looking for a Design Engineer / Executive to join Bosch Rexroth’s hydraulic pump division in Ahmedabad. You will support series production of industrial hydraulic pumps and work closely with global plants and sales teams to deliver reliable, high‑performance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic support to the Group Leader and propose execution plans for projects.
• Drive project execution, monitor timelines, and report progress.
• Analyze data to create systematic procedures and continuous process improvements.
• Mentor team members and foster a collaborative environment.
• Create and maintain Engineering Change Requests (ECR) in SAP, including BOM and material master updates.
• Design and develop new hydraulic pump components using CREO.
• Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and Design FMEA.
• Identify and implement product and process cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and Testing.

Required profile

• B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (M.Tech preferred).
• 2–10 years of experience, preferably 4–6 years in industrial hydraulic pump design.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic pumps, components, and circuits.
• Experience with development projects, FMEA, tolerance stack‑up analysis, and GD&T.
