Deputy Manager – Product Development

About the role

The Deputy Manager – Product Development will drive product strategy, market competitiveness, and category growth for our sanitaryware portfolio. You will lead product launches, enable sales teams, and shape go‑to‑market plans to increase market share.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and execute product launch meetings and counselling sessions for new and existing products.
• Develop and deliver product presentations, training materials and communication tools for sales and business teams.
• Conduct SWOT analyses, market assessments and go‑to‑market studies to identify opportunities and recommend strategic actions.
• Provide technical and commercial support to sales, including market visits to capture customer requirements and trends.
• Monitor competitor offerings, innovations and certifications; perform product gap analysis and suggest portfolio enhancements.
• Prepare benchmarking reports on product features, pricing and value propositions and share insights with leadership.
• Ensure optimal product display and visibility across all brand channels and retail formats.
• Drive innovative initiatives to improve product management processes and contribute to revenue growth.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of market trends, customer needs and competitor landscapes.
• Experience in product positioning, commercialization and category performance improvement.
• Ability to translate market intelligence into actionable business recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for training and stakeholder engagement.
