Deputy Manager – Civil Construction Projects

About the role

The Deputy Manager – Civil Construction Projects will lead civil engineering activities from initiation through commissioning, ensuring projects meet schedule, quality, and budget targets while upholding Adani’s safety‑first culture.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor civil construction projects, maintaining timelines, quality standards, and cost controls.
• Supervise site operations, enforce safety protocols, construction methods, and environmental standards.
• Review and approve civil drawings, designs, and specifications for regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to align material procurement and resource allocation.
• Implement quality assurance procedures and conduct regular inspections.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and track expenditures.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and progress reports.
• Facilitate communication among project teams, clients, regulators, and internal departments.
• Drive continuous improvement through innovation, new technologies, and sustainable construction methods.
• Mentor junior engineers and site staff, fostering a culture of learning and accountability.
