Assistant Manager - Civil Projects

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Civil Projects will lead civil engineering activities from initiation through commissioning, ensuring projects meet schedule, quality, and budget targets while upholding Adani’s safety‑first culture.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor civil projects, maintaining timelines, quality standards, and cost controls.
• Supervise site operations, enforce safety protocols, construction methods, and environmental standards.
• Review and approve civil drawings, designs, and specifications for regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to align material procurement and resource allocation.
• Implement quality assurance procedures, conduct inspections, and ensure durability of works.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and track expenditures to optimize resources.
• Identify project risks and apply mitigation strategies.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, progress reports, and compliance records.
• Act as liaison among project teams, clients, regulators, and internal departments.
• Drive continuous improvement through innovation, new technologies, and sustainable construction practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and site staff, fostering learning and teamwork.
