Deployment Engineer

About the role

The Deployment Engineer is the backbone of Celonis delivery, leading hands‑on implementation of AI‑augmented Celonis solutions for enterprise customers. You will direct AI agents to build data models, analyses and operational solutions, validate their output and ensure measurable business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct business discovery workshops to translate strategic objectives into high‑impact Celonis use cases.
• Define project scope, data requirements and success criteria together with IT and business stakeholders.
• Direct AI deployment agents (Apollo) to build data models, process analyses, KPIs and dashboards, then validate their outputs.
• Configure and customize Celonis solutions across the Process Intelligence Graph, data transformations and operational insights.
• Enable customer users, provide training and ensure long‑term adoption and hand‑off of the solution.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in management or IT consulting, data/solution consulting or process improvement (6+ years for senior level).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Fluency in English and willingness to travel up to 50% to customer sites.

Required skills

• Proficiency in PQL, SQL and Python for data modeling and automation.
• Experience with AI‑assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor and strong prompt/context engineering abilities.
• Ability to build and configure solutions on the Celonis platform, including process analysis, KPI definition and operational automation.
