Demi Chef de Partie

About the role

Marriott International is seeking a motivated Demi Chef de Partie to join its kitchen team in New Delhi. You will work under the Chef’s direction to prepare high‑quality meals, maintain food safety standards, and support daily kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals, cold foods, and standard menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters; pull and thaw frozen items as needed.
• Maintain food logs, ensure proper portioning, garnish, and overall food quality.
• Communicate assistance needs during busy periods and inform the Chef of excess or out‑of‑stock items.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching kitchen staff.
• Follow all safety, security, and uniform policies; report maintenance issues, accidents, or unsafe conditions.
• Anticipate guest service needs and maintain professional communication with team members.

Required profile

• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree in culinary arts or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant kitchen experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 lb, and perform repetitive kitchen tasks.
