Dealer Development Manager

About the role

The Dealer Development Manager will lead the expansion of our dealer and channel network, driving sales growth across urban and rural markets. Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for identifying new partners, managing relationships and ensuring the achievement of revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies to increase market penetration and sales revenue.
• Identify, onboard and train dealers, distributors and channel partners.
• Generate leads, negotiate contracts and close B2B and B2C deals to meet monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer preferences to refine strategies.
• Collaborate with marketing to launch promotional campaigns.
• Coordinate inventory management and supply‑chain activities with dealers.
• Work closely with R&D and production teams to align sales plans with product availability.
• Provide regular performance reports and represent the company at industry events.

Required profile

• 3‑7 years of experience in business development, sales or channel management, preferably in the EV, automobile or mobility sector.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Strong negotiation, communication and leadership abilities.
• Willingness to travel frequently for meetings and market expansion.

Required skills

• Understanding of electric vehicles, battery technology and market dynamics.
