Data Scientist – Phoenix Program (Women Career Break)

About the role

The Phoenix program is a six‑month, onsite initiative at Myntra designed for women returning to their careers after a break. As a Data Scientist in this program, you will work on real‑world e‑commerce challenges, collaborating with the Data Science team on projects that span recommendation systems, computer vision, supply‑chain optimisation, and generative AI.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy and maintain machine‑learning models for use cases such as recommender systems, search, vision, pricing, forecasting and trend prediction.
• Implement robust software solutions for model deployment and maintain end‑to‑end ML pipelines.
• Perform data cleaning, feature extraction and basic model training tasks.
• Monitor model performance using statistical evaluation methods and work with Data Platform teams to ensure reliability.

Required profile

• At least 1–2 years of hands‑on experience with machine‑learning theory and practice.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.
• Interest in e‑commerce and willingness to work onsite in Bengaluru for the full six‑month duration.
