Data Scientist

About the role

You will join Coface’s Data Lab team, working in pairs or small groups on innovative AI projects. You will design, develop and deploy end‑to‑end solutions that bring AI technologies into the company’s products and services while keeping an eye on emerging trends.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and operationalise data‑science and software‑engineering solutions on Docker/Kubernetes, Apache Airflow and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with teammates to improve processes, products and services using AI and machine‑learning techniques.
• Share knowledge through presentations, training sessions and dedicated technology‑watch activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist.
• Strong background in supervised/unsupervised machine learning and natural language processing.

Required skills

• Python programming with emphasis on clean, maintainable code.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI best practices.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL (document and graph) databases.
• Comfortable working in Linux environments and using Git for version control.
• Hands‑on knowledge of cloud‑based deployment workflows and Apache Airflow.
• Practical experience in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing.
