Data Products Architect – Azure & Databricks

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Data Products Architect to lead the data‑engineering side of our Enterprise Data Lake. You will work with Azure services and Databricks to build, maintain and evolve a scalable big‑data platform for BASF Digital Hub Hyderabad.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, extend and optimise the data‑product layer of the Enterprise Data Lake with high code quality, automated tests and clear documentation.
• Collaborate with product owners and solution architects to translate data requirements into robust solutions.
• Troubleshoot data and software issues, optimise pipelines for performance and scalability.
• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
• Work with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse, staying current with platform updates and best practices.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented professional with strong motivation to deliver high‑quality data solutions.
• Experience in building and operating big‑data platforms on Azure PaaS.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders and translate business needs into technical designs.
