Data Privacy Specialist

About the role

As a Data Privacy Specialist within Deloitte's Cyber Team, you will help clients design and implement robust data protection frameworks that comply with evolving privacy regulations. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to assess risks, develop policies, and ensure ongoing compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop data protection policies and procedures aligned with local privacy laws and client requirements.
• Conduct assessments to identify data privacy risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Monitor data processing activities to verify compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Guide clients through Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), risk assessments, and privacy impact assessments.
• Design and refine privacy frameworks, processes, and controls tailored to each client.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years of experience in data protection or privacy compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in law, information technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CIPT, CIPM, or CIPPE are preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
