Data Entry Specialist

About the role

You will help global clients keep their corporate governance data accurate, secure and easy to use. As a Data Entry Specialist you will migrate, transform and validate complex client records, building smart questionnaires and leveraging Excel, databases and AI tools to streamline data capture.

Key responsibilities

• Migrate and transform corporate governance data and documents into Diligent platforms, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Build and configure Director & Officer questionnaires for efficient stakeholder data collection.
• Run regular data quality checks, validate against source records and correct errors promptly.
• Use advanced Excel functions, databases and AI‑powered tools to manage large data sets and bulk uploads/downloads.
• Partner with client stakeholders and internal teams to clarify requirements, resolve issues and provide progress updates.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in a data‑focused role such as data specialist, analyst or migration.
• Strong written and spoken English communication with clients or stakeholders.
• Attention to detail with proven experience in data validation and quality checks.
• Ability to work proactively in a fast‑paced, multi‑disciplinary team and manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (complex functions, data manipulation).
• Database knowledge – understanding of data structure, storage and retrieval.
• Experience with AI‑powered data processing or automation tools.
