Data Engineer – Build Scalable Data Workflows

About the role

PriceSenz, an AI‑first technology and digital services company, is looking for a hands‑on Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data workflows that support both internal products and client projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate end‑to‑end data pipelines across multiple source systems.
• Create and refine data models, structures, and normalization schemes.
• Perform data ingestion, transformation, enrichment, and deduplication to improve data quality.
• Implement validation checks, refresh schedules, exception handling, and governance processes.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to operationalize data systems.
• Document workflows, assumptions, and business rules.

Required profile

• 2–6 years of hands‑on experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ownership attitude.
• Ability to thrive in fast‑moving, product‑focused environments.

Required skills

• Python (strong experience)
• SQL (strong experience)
• Data modeling and normalization
• Data quality, matching, and deduplication techniques
• Handling multi‑source datasets
• Experience with cloud data platforms (preferred)
