Data Engineer – Analytics

About the role

The Data Engineer – Analytics will act as the single point of contact for designated sales systems, taking full ownership of their performance, project execution, and continuous improvement. This role balances technical delivery with commercial, vendor, and stakeholder management to ensure solutions meet business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of multiple system‑related projects, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and risk mitigation.
• Maintain budgetary control over project hours and resources, reporting variances to senior stakeholders.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate new market solutions for potential adoption.
• Oversee service level agreements (SLAs) and service level objectives (SLOs), ensuring system stability and performance in production.
• Produce regular status dashboards and reports for stakeholders, highlighting issues and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to address user issues and align expectations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex, multi‑project environments, preferably in a sales or analytics context.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in contract and vendor management.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to navigate changing priorities and deliver results under pressure.
