Data Analyst – I

About the role

The Customer Services department at Etraveli Group is looking for an inquisitive, detail‑oriented Data Analyst to join the Mumbai team. You will deliver actionable insights and robust reporting solutions to global stakeholders, supporting data‑driven decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyse and report on core Customer Service KPIs and operational performance metrics on daily, weekly and monthly bases.
• Design, build and maintain interactive productivity dashboards and visual analytics using Qlik Sense and other BI tools.
• Write efficient SQL queries to extract, transform and model complex multidimensional datasets for ad‑hoc and routine business requests.
• Collaborate with global business leads to understand data requirements, manage reporting queues and communicate insights to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Identify operational trends, inefficiencies and data‑quality gaps to support automation and workflow enhancements.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in data analysis, business intelligence or operational reporting (BPO/contact‑centre experience is a plus).
• Strong SQL proficiency for complex data extraction and aggregation.
• Experience developing reports and dashboards in Qlik Sense/QlikView, Power BI, Tableau or Looker Studio.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills in Excel and Google Sheets, including complex formulas, pivot tables and data modelling.
• Proven ability to clean, manipulate and derive insights from large, unaggregated datasets.
