About the role
The Cyber Security Analyst L3 is responsible for handling escalated security alerts, investigating incidents, and performing vulnerability scans to ensure compliance with organizational standards and reduce security risks. The role works closely with internal teams to coordinate security issues, maintain risk registers, and support compliance audits.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and detect incidents by handling escalated alerts, preventing potential intrusions, and analysing log correlations to align with security standards.
- Triage and manage security incidents, conduct root‑cause analysis, and prepare compliance‑focused reports.
- Perform vulnerability scans, ingest threat‑intelligence feeds, and recommend preventive measures to lower exposure.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, maintain risk registers, and assist during compliance audits.
