About the role
The Customer Sales Executive will act as PepsiCo’s market representative, partnering with distributors to grow business, coach sales teams and resolve market challenges. The role focuses on achieving secondary sales targets, expanding distribution and ensuring product availability.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver secondary monthly sales targets and drive gross revenue growth.
- Plan efficient sales routes to boost productivity.
- Increase net distribution by adding new outlets and weighted distribution by expanding SKU count in existing outlets.
- Ensure stock availability and proper rack execution according to planograms.
- Build strong relationships with customers to maximize satisfaction.
- Provide one‑on‑one training to PSRs, set monthly targets and coach salesmen on market execution.
- Monitor sales performance through regular reports and communicate incentives.
- Manage distributor appointments, retirements and health of the distribution business (ROI).
- Recruit, retain and develop sales representatives.
- Ensure FIFO, stacking norms and food compliance, and track timely order delivery.
Required profile
- Undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in FMCG sales and distribution.
