Custom Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Custom Software Engineer to design, code and enhance software components that meet specific business needs. The role involves using modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high‑performing solutions while working from our Coimbatore office.

Key responsibilities

• Develop custom software solutions across systems or applications, following the software development life‑cycle.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate project requirements into technical designs.
• Maintain and improve existing applications to boost performance and user experience.
• Document code changes, development processes and technical specifications for knowledge sharing.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience working with Laboratory Information and Execution Systems.
• Full‑time education of 15 years (equivalent to a bachelor’s degree).
• Ability to work independently and become a subject‑matter expert.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot, debug and optimise software components.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Laboratory Information and Execution Systems.
• Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks used in custom software development.
• Knowledge of version control systems and collaborative development tools.
• Understanding of agile methodologies and software development life‑cycle.
