Cook – Dessert Café

About the role

The Cook will join Frappe & Yap, a cozy dessert café in Viman Nagar, Pune, preparing a variety of desserts, beverages and light café dishes. This full‑time, on‑site position works closely with the front‑of‑house team to ensure timely and high‑quality service throughout the day.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare desserts, drinks and café‑style dishes following established recipes and portion standards.
• Measure ingredients, manage cooking times and plate orders with attention to presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, workstations and equipment, and adhere to food‑safety and hygiene protocols.
• Monitor inventory, assist with stock checks and help minimise waste during peak periods.
• Support menu updates by testing new recipes and providing feedback.

Required profile

• Passion for desserts and beverages with ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Strong attention to detail in taste, texture and portion control.
• Good time‑management skills to handle multiple orders in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork to coordinate with front‑of‑house staff.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to menu changes and accept constructive feedback.
