About the role

The Converter Sales Leader will drive sales growth for 3M’s industrial adhesives and tapes portfolio across India. Reporting to Division Leadership, you will lead a team that serves direct converter customers in key sectors such as electronics and medical devices, while expanding the converter ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute the sales strategy with Division Leadership to meet revenue targets and increase market share in specialized industrial segments.
  • Identify and develop new direct and indirect converter opportunities, expanding the ecosystem.
  • Forecast sales trends, evaluate market opportunities, and adjust plans for sustainable growth.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the sales team, handling hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders, participating in strategic engagements and contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with channel partners, GIC team, Marketing, and Technical Services to deliver customer‑focused solutions.
  • Manage the sales budget, monitor performance, and drive business‑excellence initiatives.

Required profile

  • Proven experience leading sales teams in industrial or B2B environments.
  • Strong financial and business acumen with a track record of profitable growth.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans and forecasts.
  • Excellent relationship‑building skills with customers, partners, and cross‑functional teams.
  • Experience managing budgets and driving operational efficiency.
