Executive - Sales Commercial

About the role

The Executive – Sales Commercial will provide backend support to the sales function, ensuring timely delivery of materials to customers, efficient warehouse operations, and adherence to established systems and procedures. This role contributes directly to achieving overall business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor order cycle time and coordinate material delivery to dealers and project sites.
• Collaborate with customers and sales teams to resolve material service issues.
• Support material storage and delivery for related businesses such as Home Improvement.
• Manage warehouse productivity, conduct stock verification, and control variances.
• Maintain warehouse documentation, legal agreements, and implement Transport Management System for route optimization.
• Assess and propose infrastructure capex projects for warehouses and sales offices, and oversee their execution.
• Assist regional commercial team with overhead budgeting and monitor freight cost per ton.
• Process vendor payments, ensure timely settlements, and coordinate quarterly reconciliations.
• Track statutory licenses, update compliance portals, and initiate corrective actions for non‑compliance.
• Conduct safety audits and prepare monthly performance reports.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in any stream (BA/B.Sc./B.Com/BBA/BBM/BMS) with minimum 50% marks and no backlogs.
• Full‑time graduation.
