Continental Chef – Burgers, Pasta & Breakfast

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Continental Chef to lead the preparation and service of burgers, pasta, sandwiches and breakfast dishes. The role requires maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene and presentation in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of continental dishes, ensuring consistency in taste, portion size and plating.
• Manage breakfast service, including timely preparation, replenishment and buffet or à la carte presentation.
• Maintain strict cleanliness and hygiene in line with food‑safety regulations.
• Monitor inventory, minimise waste and assist with stock ordering and proper storage.
• Develop new menu items and seasonal specials to keep the offering fresh.
• Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff during service, ensuring proper equipment use and maintenance.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience as a Continental Chef in a hotel, café or restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of continental cuisine, especially burgers, pasta, sandwiches and breakfast preparation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high‑pressure kitchen and adapt to early mornings, weekends and holidays.
• Team‑player attitude with good time‑management skills.
