Content Development Editor

About the role

This role focuses on developing and maintaining high-quality legal content that is current, accurate, and valuable to customers worldwide. You will monitor legal and regulatory developments, apply subject‑matter expertise and customer insights, and help enhance content portfolios across practice areas and jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify legislative reforms, procedures, case law and trends within relevant practice areas.
• Develop a deep understanding of the portfolio, including target market, authors, positioning, structure and development needs.
• Apply subject‑matter knowledge and customer insights to ensure content is current, relevant and accessible across products.
• Plan and execute harvesting, refreshing or discontinuation of underperforming modules.
• Develop and communicate the value proposition of all modules within the portfolio.
• Support new content development proposals and implementation of new titles in adjacent practice areas or jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Law degree with 3–4 years of experience in content development, publishing, or legal/regulatory compliance.
• Proven drafting and editing experience with a solid understanding of the publishing process.
• Strong communication, collaboration, problem‑solving and project‑management abilities.
