Junior Company Counsel

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Company Counsel to join our legal team in Gurgaon. In this position you will support the company’s compliance and litigation attorneys, help develop compliance policies, and assist sales teams with contract negotiations in a fast‑moving global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, amend and format legal documents, contracts, letters, reports and presentations using approved templates.
• Maintain meeting minutes, summarize legal correspondence and update clause libraries.
• Assist with compliance investigations, training development and anti‑bribery due‑diligence programmes.
• Support commercial transactions and customer negotiations, ensuring documents are accurate and delivered on time.
• Proofread and review legal documents for consistency, formatting and cross‑referencing.
• Participate in legal projects and special initiatives as required.

Required profile

• Experience working in a law firm or in‑house legal team, handling commercial contracts.
• Strong ability to prioritize workload and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with solid knowledge of legal terminology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Report writing and project‑management experience is a plus.
