Consultant – Indirect Tax (Core) – AMI – Pune

About the role

EY is seeking a Consultant to join its Advanced Manufacturing, Mobility & Infrastructure (AMI) tax team in Pune. The role focuses on core indirect tax services, helping clients navigate complex tax regulations and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse tax data and support the accurate preparation of indirect tax returns and filings.
• Interpret and apply indirect tax regulations, statutory documentation and reconciliation of tax records.
• Utilise standard consulting and analytical methods to assess tax issues and deliver client deliverables.
• Work on indirect tax engagements ensuring accuracy, consistency and adherence to deadlines.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification.
• Relevant experience in indirect tax compliance and reporting.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of indirect tax concepts and compliance requirements.
• Ability to analyse tax data and perform reconciliations.
• Proficiency with standard consulting and analytical approaches.
