Consultant – Forensic Audit & Investigation (CA Fresher)

About the role

The Consultant – Forensic Audit & Investigation will support the execution of forensic audits, fraud investigations, dispute advisory, and compliance review engagements. You will work on complex financial investigations, analyse financial records, identify irregularities and assist in preparing reports for clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Execute forensic audit and fraud investigation assignments.
• Conduct dispute advisory and compliance review engagements.
• Analyse financial statements and data to detect potential irregularities.
• Prepare detailed investigation reports for clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with engagement teams and develop technical expertise in forensic advisory.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualified in 2025 or 2026.
• Articleship experience in forensic audit, fraud investigation, risk advisory, internal audit, statutory audit or related domains (preferred).
• Exposure to forensic assignments, data analytics, compliance reviews or investigative engagements during Articleship (advantage).

Required skills

• Strong understanding of accounting, auditing principles and financial statement analysis.
• Basic knowledge of forensic accounting, fraud investigation techniques and fraud risk management.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
